    Your data room

The data room (/data-room) is where investors read your documents after they are approved, and where you see exactly who read what.

Organizing it. Create folders, then drag files in. Keep names plain, such as "Financial model" or "Subscription agreement".

Read tracking. Every time an investor opens a document, it is recorded against their name: which file, when, and how often they came back. You see it in the CRM.

Removing files. Deleted files go to Trash and are removed for good after 30 days, so a mistake can be undone.

Tip. Send investors to the data room, not attachments. A PDF in an email leaves no trace; a document opened in the data room tells you who is serious.
